Yvette Luján-Flores is a dedicated educator and instructional coach with deep roots in New Mexico. A native of Las Vegas, NM, she now resides in Rio Rancho with her husband of 33 years, Tim Flores—who is also a fellow LEAP Coach. Together, they have raised three grown children.
Yvette earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from New Mexico Highlands University, with endorsements in Bilingual Education, TESOL, Modern and Classical Languages, and Reading. She holds a master’s degree in Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies from the University of New Mexico, along with a PreK–12 Administration License obtained through the ADL Program at CES.
With 27 years of classroom experience—six in the Moriarty School District and 21 in Rio Rancho—Yvette retired from teaching in 2023. She is now in her second year as a LEAP Instructional Coach, where she continues her commitment to empowering educators and advancing student learning across New Mexico.
